CTAN update: mitthesis

Date: November 3, 2025 12:17:50 PM CET
John H. Lienhard submitted an update to the mitthesis package. Version number: 1.21 2025-11-02 License type: mit Summary description: A LaTeX template for an MIT thesis Announcement text:
The mitthesis class formats an MIT thesis or dissertation according to the current requirements of the MIT Libraries. This template is appropriate for MIT theses of all types. It can be adapted for other institutions, if desired. This update introduces an automatically generated page listing the thesis committee members, which will appear if one or more \Reader{name}{title}{dept} commands are present. The \Supervisor{name}{title}[Department] command now includes the optional third argument, which is necessary for the committee members page. At a technical level, this update extends support for tagged PDF (UA-2 and A-4F). The class now allows a css style file to be attached for better html rendering. The examples directory of this distribution includes many sample PDF files that are compliant with UA-2, A-4F, and WTPDF-1 and which render well in html (e.g., at ngpgf.com). Additionally, the internal expl3 code has been heavily edited, particularly for syntactical compliance. TeX Live 2022, or later distributions, are now required.
