finstrut
was submitted.
Summary description: no more spurious line from \par at end of footnote text
License type: lppl
Announcement text:
`finstrut.sty' changes LaTeX's \@finalstrut (that is automatically inserted at the end of footnote text) so that it does not produce an extra empty line in vertical mode, e.g., with \lipsum from lipsum.sty for dummy text. KEYWORDs: footnotes; tables, dummy text, macro programming
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/finstrut . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/info/?id=finstrut (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . finstrut – Adjust behaviour of the ends of footnotes
The LaTeX internal command \@finalstrut is used automatically used at the end of footnote texts to insert a strut to avoid mis-spacing of multiple footnotes. Unfortunately the command can cause a blank line at the end of a footnote. The package provides a solution to this problem.
