Qing Lee sub­mit­ted an up­date to the xpinyin pack­age. Ver­sion num­ber: 1.7 Li­cense type: lppl Sum­mary de­scrip­tion: Au­to­mat­i­cally add pinyin to Chi­nese char­ac­ters An­nounce­ment text:
* Add `\dis­ablepinyin` to tem­porar­ily sup­press pinyin an­no­ta­tion in some spe­cial macros (e.g. `\foot­note`) in pinyin en­vi­ron­ment. `\en­ablepinyin` is added ac­cord­ingly. * Com­pat­i­ble with the old ver­sion of xeCJK.

xpinyin – Au­to­mat­i­cally add pinyin to Chi­nese char­ac­ters

The pack­age is writ­ten to sim­plify the in­put of Hanyu Pinyin. Macros are pro­vided that au­to­mat­i­cally add pinyin to Chi­nese char­ac­ters.
