CTAN Update: jmlr

Date: September 22, 2020 7:04:53 PM CEST
Nicola Talbot submitted an update to the jmlr package. Version: 1.28 2020-09-21 License: lppl1.3 Summary description: Class files for the Journal of Machine Learning Research Announcement text:
jmlr.cls bug fixes: - fixed twoside option (which should be the default) - \thanks now uses mpfootnote instead of footnote counter with matching \footnotemark and \footnotetext optional arguments. jmlrbook.cls notice: the next version will have changes that may break backward compatibility (in order to work with the upcoming new LaTeX kernel). Therefore the next release will contain a rollback to this version (to ensure the bug fixes in this release are incorporated in the rollback). This will only affect production editors (who need to use jmlrbook.cls) not authors (who only need to use jmlr.cls).
The package’s Catalogue entry can be viewed at https://ctan.org/pkg/jmlr The package’s files themselves can be inspected at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/jmlr/

jmlr – Class files for the Journal of Machine Learning Research

The jmlr bundle provides a class for authors (jmlr) and a class for production editors (jmlrbook).

The jmlrbook class can be used to combine articles written using the jmlr class into a book. The class uses the combine class and the hyperref package to produce either a colour hyperlinked book for on-line viewing or a greyscale nonhyperlinked book for printing.

Production editors can use makejmlrbookgui to help build the proceedings from the articles.
