CTAN update: spath3
This is a major rewrite of the spath3 package. At the user level, it provides a new interface via TikZ keys for manipulating TikZ/PGF's soft paths and re-using them in a TikZ picture. This includes the facility to split a path at points where it intersects another path (or itself) which provides a new way to draw knot and similar diagrams. The knots and calligraphy TikZ libraries, which are provided as part of this package, should work as before.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/graphics/pgf/contrib/spath3 More information is at https://www.ctan.org/pkg/spath3
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Manfred Lotz CTAN is run entirely by volunteers and supported by TeX user groups. Please join a user group or donate to one, see https://ctan.org/lugs .
spath3 – Manipulate “soft paths” in PGF
The spath3 library provides methods for manipulating the “soft paths” of TikZ/PGF.
Packaged with it are two TikZ libraries that make use of the methods provided. These are libraries for drawing calligraphic paths and for drawing knot diagrams.
