This new release of curve2e uses the floating point arithmetics made available by package xfp; therefore the definitions of several commands are much simplified compared to previous versions. A fallback algorithm has been implemented to load the last previous update of the package if xfp is not available. Some commands have been added and a significant error is corrected (also in the attached previous version) so as to deal correctly with second degree Bezier splines.

curve2e – Extensions for package pict2e
The package extends the drawing capacities of the pict2e that serves as a LaTeX2ε replacement for picture mode. In particular, curve2e introduces new macros for lines and vectors, new specifications for line terminations and joins, arcs with any angular aperture, arcs with arrows at one or both ends, generic curves specified with their nodes and the tangent direction at these nodes.
