Daniel Flipo submitted an update to the babel-french package. Version number: 3.4a License type: lppl1.3 Summary description: Babel contributed support for French Announcement text:
- New command \frenchdate (like \spanishdate); - Both options "french" and "acadian" can now be used simultaneously in a document; - New command \FBsetspaces to help customising spaces added before high punctuation and inside quotes; - \FBthousandsep (used in French by numprint) is now a kern; - babel-french now requires eTeX.
