CTAN update: struktex
The package provides a collection of LaTeX macros to create Nassi Shneiderman diagrams. It is based on the LaTeX picture environment, but by the use of additional package's (e.g. pict2e) the limitations of the picture macros concerning fixed slopes are nullified. Version v101 contains a new set of macros to display parallel tasks.
This package is located at http://tug.ctan.org/tex-archive/macros/latex/contrib/struktex/ . More information is at http://tug.ctan.org/pkg/struktex (if the package is new it may take a day for that information to appear). We are supported by the TeX Users Group http://www.tug.org . struktex – Draw Nassi-Shneidermann charts
Even in the age of OOP one must develop algorithms. Nassi-Shneiderman diagrams are a well known tool to describe an algorithm in a graphical way. The package offers some macros for generating those diagrams in a LaTeX document.
The package provides the most important elements of a Nassi-Shneiderman diagram, including processing blocks, loops, mapping conventions for alternatives, etc. Diagrams are drawn using the picture environment (using pict2e for preference).
