Hangulmath – Hangul jamo as mathematical symbols
Mathematical notation draws almost entirely on Latin and Greek letters. This package adds the 40 letters (jamo) of modern Korean Hangul as math symbols: 14 basic consonants, 5 double consonants, 10 basic vowels and 11 compound vowels.
Each symbol has an official name following the Revised Romanization of Korean (\giyeok, \nieun, ...), and consonants have a four-letter alias that is easy to remember (\giug, \niun, \diud, \liul, ...). Vowels are written as pronounced with a trailing h (\ah, \eoh, \uah). \hangulsum, \hangulint and \hangullima turn any symbol into a sum-, integral- or limit-like operator.
The package requires XeLaTeX or LuaLaTeX. The symbol glyphs come from a bundled subset of Noto Sans CJK KR (SIL OFL), so no Korean font needs to be installed.
