CTAN update: floatrow v0.1d

Date: March 7, 2005 11:49:11 PM CET
On Mon, 7 Mar 2005, Olga Lapko submitted version 0.1d of the package floatrow Location on CTAN: macros/latex/contrib/floatrow License type: lppl Abstract:
The floatrow package provides many ways to customise layouts of floating environments; it offers possibilities to put floats side by side, to put a caption beside a float. All floats of one type appear in one layout. Some floatrow settings could be expanded to rows of subfloats (subfig package). Package gets the best with co-operation with caption 3.x package.
Changes: - Bug fixing in counting of widths in float row and float box building. - Bug fixing: the color frames with color package get correct colours. - Restoring separate usage of \floatbox command (outside of float environment) - Adjusting of \floatsetup keys and options (naming and declaring). - Created new command \DeclareFloatStyle command (instead of \definefloatstyle), which uses \floatsetup mechanism for float style building. - The lengths \captionskip and \floatfootskip became commands. - The floats with beside captions can be placed in floatrow environment. - The layout for floats with besdie captions advanced (added new possibilities of width setting). - The new sub-package fr-subfig (beta) with subfloatrow environment created: for usage with subfig package, this environment try to expand float style settings to subfloats. Thanks for the update. For the CTAN Team Rainer Schöpf

floatrow – Modifying the layout of floats

The floatrow package provides many ways to customize layouts of floating environments and has code to cooperate with the caption 3.x package. The package offers mechanisms to put floats side by side, and to put the caption beside its float. The floatrow settings could be expanded to the floats created by packages rotating, wrapfig, subfig (in the case of rows of subfloats), and longtable.
