CTAN update: footnotehyper

Date: October 4, 2016 10:49:18 PM CEST
Jean-François Burnol submitted an update to the footnotehyper package. Version number: 0.9f 2016-10-03 License type: lppl1.3 Summary description: hyperref aware footnote.sty Announcement text:
bugfix 1: the footnote environment provided by footnote.sty (which allows verbatim material) was made hyperref aware in a previous release; but this was done in a way which made it unreactive to the \savenotes/spewnotes mechanism ... bugfix 2: the footnote environment of footnote.sty raises an error when used with an optional argument, but I was not aware of that. This update fixes these bugs and makes both the footnote and footnotetext environments fully functional, in an hyperref aware way. Note 1: auxiliary macros for these environments are inherited from footnote.sty but their construction there is susceptible to fail as soon as \@makefntext has been modified by some package in any significant way. Note 2: hyperref does not create hyperlinks in the case of a \footnotemark[N] followed by a \footnotetext[N]{foo}. This fact, which applies also to the case of a footnotetext environment with the optional argument is _not_ changed by the package.
This package is located at http://mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/footnotehyper More information is at http://www.ctan.org/pkg/footnotehyper We are supported by the TeX User Groups. Please join a users group; see http://www.tug.org/usergroups.html .
Thanks for the upload. For the CTAN Team Ina Dau

footnotehyper – A hyperref aware footnote environment

This package provides a footnote environment allowing verbatim material and a savenotes environment which captures footnotes across problematic environments. It is a successor to the footnote package by Mark Wooding which had various compatibility issues with modern packages (hyperref, color, xcolor, babel-french).
