- su­per­flu­ous and some­times trou­ble­some \un­skip's were re­moved. Note that this changed the be­hav­ior of 'af­ter up­per' and 'af­ter lower'. Some user code may need to ap­ply the new 'af­ter up­per*' / 'af­ter lower*' op­tions or in­sert an \un­skip. - even/odd page test­ing com­pletely rewrit­ten. - some dif­fer­ence for­mu­las were re­vised. - new macros: '\thet­col­or­boxnum­ber', '\thet­col­or­box­page', '\tcb­i­fod­dpage', '\tcb­height­from­group' - new op­tions: 'af­ter up­per*', 'af­ter lower*', 'cen­ter', 'flush right', 'flush left', 'if odd page', 'if odd page*', 'use height from group' - li­brary 'xparse': * new macro: '\tcb­side­by­side' * new op­tions: 'side­by­side adapt', 'side­by­side switch'

tcol­or­box – Coloured boxes, for ex­am­ples and the­o­rems, etc

This pack­age pro­vides an en­vi­ron­ment for coloured and framed text boxes with a head­ing line. Op­tion­ally, such a box may be split in an up­per and a lower part; thus the pack­age may be used for the set­ting of ex­am­ples where one part of the box dis­plays the source code and the other part shows the out­put. Another com­mon use case is the set­ting of the­o­rems. The pack­age sup­ports sav­ing and reuse of source code and text parts.

The pack­age de­pends on the pgf, ver­ba­tim, en­v­i­ron, and etool­box pack­ages.
