Ross Moore et al. submitted an update to the pdfx package. Version number: 1.5.3 License type: lppl Summary description: PDF/X-1a and PDF/A-1b support for pdfTeX. Announcement text:
The pdfx package has been revised (v.1.5.3) to support various PDF standards, including PDF/A (all flavours and levels), PDF/X (most levels) and PDF/E. With pdfLaTeX as the engine, this package is used to provide the correct PDF key-values, Color Profiles and XMP Metadata to allow a document to be identified as conforming to a published PDF ISO-standard. Unicode CMAP resources are generated, as required for PDF/A-2u, etc. It does *not* ensure fully tagged PDF (e.g. for PDF/A-1a). PDF/X-4p, PDF/X-5pg and PDF/VT and currently not fully implemented. Support for these, and other improvements, will be supplied in a later update.
