This new release of MetaPost will be included in the next TeXLive. MetaPost 1.200 has: * support for SVG graphics generation * the possibility to access PostScript Type1 font curves from within the MetaPost language * a series of bugfixes * an improved manual and tutorial The MetaPost home page is http://tug.org/metapost . The MetaPost development project is currently hosted at Supelec, https://foundry.supelec.fr/projects/metapost; please report bugs and request enhancements through there if possible. Alternatively, you can reach us through the <metapost at tug.org> mailing list as well.

metapost – A development of METAFONT for creating graphics
METAPOST uses a language based on that of METAFONT to produce precise technical illustrations. Its output is scalable PostScript or SVG, rather than the bitmaps METAFONT creates.
