CTAN Update: tikz-timing

Date: December 30, 2009 1:42:21 PM CET
On Mon, 28 Dec 2009 Martin Scharrer submitted an update of the tikz-timing package. This package provides macros and an environment to generate timing diagrams (digital waveforms) without much effort. The TikZ package is used to produce the graphics. The diagrams may be inserted into text (paragraphs, \hbox, etc.) and into tikzpictures. A tabular-like environment is provided to produce larger timing diagrams. Location on CTAN: /graphics/pgf/contrib/tikz-timing/ License type: lppl Announcement text:
This update fixes a couple of smaller bugs in v0.7 and adds some functionality. The changes in detail are: General: * Fixed scaling behaviour of timing node shape. * Fixed scaling of reference coordinates. * Added `timing/unit`, `timing/xunit` and `timing/yunit` options. Parser: * Added local scopes `{ }` incl. push and pop of saved options. Documentation: * Changed manual to screen optimised format. * Updated examples. * Updated documentation. * Added figure to illustrate nodes inside a tikztimingtable. * Added subsection about how to scale the complete table. tikztimingtable: * Added alias for last row: '`last row`'. Renamed old internal node with the same name. * Changed `\tableheader` definition to allow two extra optional arguments for the two mandatory ones. * Updated table header macro in `nicetabs` library. * Added rectangle node '`all rows`' around all rows of a tikztimingtable. * Added label node names incl. 'all labels' node. `advnodes` library: * Fixed wrong border coordinates. Enabled old node centers for existing example code. * Fixed `EE` and `DH` anchor points. `counters` library: * Updated `counters` library to use macro instead of TeX counters to avoid problems with multiple definitions of the same counter character. * Added several new options for `counters` library. * Internal code improvements for `counters` libraries. * Added counter styles. `interval` library: * Fixed interval boundaries.
